Description

Ibuprofen for children is used from 12 months to 12 years as an antipyretic agent for acute respiratory diseases, influenza, childhood infections, post-vaccination reactions and other infectious and inflammatory diseases, accompanied by an increase in body temperature. The drug is used as an analgesic for pain syndrome of mild to moderate intensity, including headache and toothache, migraine, neuralgia, pain in the ears and throat, pain with sprains and other types of pain.

Ibuprofen is administered orally after meals.
Children 12 months (7-9 kg) 3 to 4 times 2.5 ml per day;
Children from 1 to 3 years old (10-15 kg) 3 times 5 ml per day;
Children from 3 to 6 years old (16-20 kg) 3 times 7.5 ml during the day;
Children from 6 to 9 years old (21-29 kg) 3 times 10 ml during the day;
Children from 9 to 12 years old (30-40 kg) 3 times 15 ml during the day;

The duration of treatment for fever is no more than 3 days, for pain syndrome – no more than 5 days.
